We learned that Quails were depicted in ancient Egyptian paintings, the quail drawings in hieroglyphics are equal to the letter "O"
It was fun learning about these guys this morning thanks to our Activities director.

It was amazing watching them grow
Butterflies hold significant cultural and spiritual meaning in Native American cultures symbolizing transformation and change. Their life cycle from caterpillar to chrysalis to butterflies represents personal growth and the journey of life.
They are often associated with good luck which is why we all made a special wish while releasing them into our garden. 🏡

At Williamsburg, we are constantly amazed by our wonderful residents. They are creative, talented, caring, and always willing to lend a helping hand to one another. The friendships and support we see every day are what make our community so special.
This week, one of our amazing residents, Jerri, truly saved the day! With over 30 years of experience as a hairstylist, she stepped in when several hair appointments were unexpectedly canceled. Without hesitation, Jerri volunteered her time and talents to help fellow residents look and feel their best.
Her kindness, generosity, and skill brought smiles to many faces, and our residents left feeling beautiful and confident once again. Thank you, Jerri, for reminding us what community is all about—helping one another, sharing our gifts, and making each day a little brighter.
We are so grateful for residents like Jerri who make Williamsburg such a wonderful place to call home. ❤️

We had a wonderful visit from the Humane Society and we got to meet Houston the Labrador Retriever. Such a sweetheart! 🐾
Bird of the Week 🦉 The Great Horned Owl (Bubo Virginianus) a large powerful North American owl with yellow eyes and ability to hunt prey larger than itself! They have extremely powerful grips and have excellent night vision and hearing. Such incredible creatures.
